Wellness Home Initiative Gains Momentum

The Nikken Wellness Home Initiative is moving forward with this month’s introduction of communication tools and the donation of our first gift of wellness. First announced in October 2009 at the Nikken North America Convention, the initiative was formally introduced to all worldwide markets in Nikken President Doug Braun’s New Year Address in January. On February 1 it became fully operational with web support on Nikken.com. The first nominations for recipients of donations are being accepted, and tracking and recording systems are now in place on myNikken.com to enable Consultants to see their personal impact and contribution to Wellness Home starts. You now have real-time access to your personal, personal group and North America Wellness Home starts through your account summary information on the home page on myNikken.com.

Designed to promote Healthy Families and a Healthy Society, the Nikken Wellness Home Initiative is dedicated to the goal of creating Wellness Homes everywhere — over one million by the 40th anniversary of Nikken in 2015. For every 100 Wellness Homes started, Nikken will donate to a family in need a free Wellness Home package that includes Nikken products for better air, water, sleep — and Magsteps®, the insoles that began the Nikken story. The goal of the initiative is for a total of 10,000 free Wellness Homes to be in place worldwide by the 2015 date.

Nominations for the initial recipients of Wellness Homes were submitted by members of the Nikken President’s Club. These are now under consideration, and submissions continue to arrive. Following this introduction in North America the program will expand globally, as Nikken operations around the world join in.

The Nikken Wellness Home Initiative has been announced to the public through a press release and it now has a page on the Nikken.com web site. You can follow the progress of the Wellness Home Initiative on myNikken.com and on your Personal Web Page (look for the Wellness Home Initiative logo and link). This real-time display will show a running total of the number of Wellness Homes donated and your personal contribution to this effort.
